![]() (I personally preferred the aesthetics of the Witch Doctor from D3 than the Necro of D2 but I know there's a lot of love for the Necro and I also think the design of the Necro is more unique in comparison to the classes we already have available) The Druid looks more like a character-first/summons-second type of character so a class that puts their summons first (like the Summon/Curse Necro from D2) would fit in nicely. ![]() On topic of additional classes I can see them introducing the Necromancer/Witch Doctor early on. Something more akin to the Priest/Shaman class in WoW that focus on elemental/light-based ranged attacks, along with buffs & heals. On the topic of the "healer" archetype I hope they avoid the Paladin and go for a more standardized type of Priest if they are going to introduce such a character for their 5th or close to 5th character. Alongside the single-player campaign, Diablo VI will also be offering a Multiplayer mode in both co-operative and competitive formats which should offer hours of new gameplay content.IIRC there was a class called a Priest in the works in a previous Diablo installment, might've been D2, so they could dabble with something akin to that for a more heal/buff/backline-focused class if they're gonna go with a more dungeon-esque type of experience. These environments coupled with the intense action and deep RPG elements will surely make for a captivating and immersive experience. The game will utilize a new graphical engine which allows the developers to create more detailed and breathtaking environments than ever before. The Druid is a shapeshifter that can use the power of nature to fight the enemy.ĭiablo VI will feature a new ‘seasons’ game mode which allows players to battle through a series of seasonal challenges in order to earn unique rewards and unique loot. The Necromancer has access to powerful spells and can summon minions to aid them in battle. The Barbarian class will have the ability to wield two weapons for huge amounts of damage and can also use their strength and agility to traverse the terrain of Sanctuary. Finally, the game will feature a fully-realized PvP mode where players can test their skills against others in the world of Sanctuary.Įach character class will have its own distinct playstyle that focuses on using the character’s unique benefits during combat. These customization options allow players to truly make their characters their own and create unique experiences with each playthrough. In addition, there will be a robust character editor that allows players to customize their characters further, choosing not only their class and stats but also their gender, hairstyle, and even the color of their eyes. Players will be able to customize their character’s abilities, equipment and even its appearance in order to create a unique experience for each playthrough.ĭiablo VI will also feature a variety of new game modes and experiences, such as the Aetheric Adversaries Mode, a co-operative online experience where you join forces with up to four other players to battle powerful adversaries for gear and other rewards. These classes will each have their own unique abilities and skillsets that players can utilize in their journey to fight the forces of darkness in Sanctuary. This sixth installment will feature five playable classes – Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue and Sorcerer.
